Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern use of Clark County Busted Mugshots. By accessing or using the site, a visitor agrees to these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the service.

Clark County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. It only helps visitors locate Clark County, Kansas jail and public-record resources.

Nature of the Service

This private reference site has no official role in Clark County government, the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Meade County Jail, Kansas VINE, Clark District Court, or the Kansas Department of Corrections. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, alter a record, file a court document, or act for an agency.

Its pages point readers toward official jail, court, and corrections resources and may connect visitors to independently operated research tools.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to Kansas VINE, jail and booking resources, CCSO, Meade County, KDOC, court portals, federal locators, legal aid, news sources, and outside search services. Those operators control their own content, availability, terms, pricing, and data handling. A link is not an endorsement, and visitors should review the destination's policies.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made concerning:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or current status
  • Continuous or uninterrupted availability
  • Freedom from errors, bugs, or security flaws
  • Completeness of any partner's search results

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from a sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or other government agency.

Liability Is Limited

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the owners, operators, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the site or an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse of the service, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Clark County Busted Mugshots or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, altered, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where law independently permits use.

Changes Take Effect When Posted

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted on this page. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Withdrawn

Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice, including when needed to protect the service or enforce these terms.

Kansas Law Governs

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. References to government records do not alter the separate Kansas Open Records Act rules in K.S.A. 45-215 through 45-223.

Remaining Terms Stay Effective

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in force. The affected provision will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it valid and enforceable.
