Clark County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a sheriff, jail, court, or government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that created or holds the record.
Choose the Correct Records Office
Clark County's current process crosses county lines. The Clark County Sheriff's Office handles the local arrest or incident record. Meade County Sheriff's Office books and incarcerates each person taken into custody from Clark County, so Meade holds the jail-created booking record and any booking photograph. Kansas VINE is the official web and mobile route for current adult county-jail custody status. It is not a photo roster, booking feed, or court record.
Clark County Sheriff's Office
221 W. 9th Ave.
P.O. Box 566
Ashland, KS 67831
Office / non-emergency: 620-635-2802
Fax: 620-635-2148
Use CCSO for Clark County arrest and incident material. The office says it serves the county around the clock, but no separate public records-counter hours were published. Its posted incident and crash report terms should not be assumed to set the price or availability of a booking photo, which Meade may have created.
Meade County Sheriff's Office and Jail
P.O. Box 487
Meade, KS 67864
Telephone: 620-873-8765
Fax: 620-873-8778
Use Meade's current open-records form for the jail-created booking record or image. Identify the department, person, approximate booking date, and Clark case number if known. Confirm the right recipient, delivery method, fee, and any required prepayment before sending funds. No booking-photo fee, records-office hours, or production time was published in the reviewed material.
Clark District Court
913 Highland
P.O. Box 790
Ashland, KS 67831
Clerk: 620-635-2753
The court, not a sheriff's intake record, shows what the prosecutor filed and how the case ended. Contact the clerk for public case material, warrant return or service context, and disposition. A disposition is the recorded outcome. Sealed or otherwise restricted material will not be released merely because it was requested.
The following routes match common questions to the correct source:
- For a mugshot, current custody check, or booking-record request, start with the Clark County booking search paths, then direct the request to CCSO or Meade based on who created the record.
- For a possible active warrant, use the official clerk and sheriff steps on Sheriff's Most Wanted. A case-search result is not real-time warrant confirmation.
- For a newly reported arrest, check Kansas VINE for present county-jail custody, then ask CCSO for basic arrest facts when no public blotter exists.
- For a release or transfer alert, register through Kansas VINE. An alert states custody change, not the legal reason or court result.
- For a sentenced state offender, use the Kansas Department of Corrections KASPER repository. It is separate from Meade County Jail and may carry a different photograph.
- For a federal prisoner, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For a person in ICE custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither service is a Clark County arrest log.
If an official record appears wrong, send a focused correction request to its custodian with the exact record, the disputed fact, and a supporting court order or disposition when available. This private site cannot amend agency data, court files, Kansas VINE, or KASPER.
